SUCCESS STORIES
Since the Kiddye Tubbs founding on June 21, 2024, Kiddye Tubbs has been a steadfast source of hope and support for our community, uplifting individuals and families through a variety of transformative programs.
The Nourish Elders Program has provided critical food assistance to more than 50 families, ensuring seniors in underserved neighborhoods have access to essential resources. Curtis L., a grateful beneficiary, expressed his appreciation for the program, stating, “I wasn’t even aware it existed, and I really appreciate having this resource in my neighborhood.” The program also helped him secure propane gas for heating. Additionally, the organization partnered with the Lee Russell Council of Governments to supply food to 30 elderly clients. Jenna T. from the council praised Kiddye Tubbs for its invaluable support.
Through the Cuddle Patrol Program, Kiddye Tubbs brings comfort and joy to vulnerable members of the community. Rose Mary C. of East Alabama Medical Center Pediatric and Maternity was overwhelmed with gratitude, sharing how the program's donation of teddy bears have brightened the days of sick children and new mothers during challenging times.
The Scholars Essentials Program has also made a significant impact, equipping two local schools with essential supplies, including notebooks, pens, pencils, and other critical materials. By ensuring students have the tools they need to succeed academically, Kiddye Tubbs fosters an environment where every child can thrive.
At Christmas time, the Kid’s Dream Program spreads holiday cheer by providing toys and food to disadvantaged children and their families. Ms. W., a representative from a local school, was thrilled to accept donations for the children and their families, which also contributed to the school’s Angel Tree, making the holidays extra special.
Lastly, the Empowerment Intervention Program offered essential support to the victims of domestic violence. Mrs. Z. Davis of Domestic Violence Intervention expressed heartfelt thanks for the much-needed items the program has provided to support the survivors at her center.
Every program and initiative carried out by Kiddye Tubbs reflects its deep commitment to creating a caring and compassionate community. However, none of this would be possible without the generous support of individuals like you. Your contributions help us sustain these vital efforts and reach even more people in need.
